I’ve read a number of posts lately recommending just blowing away MacPorts instead of upgrading, or migrating to the latest version.
I just wanted to put something out there to let people know that there is another way.
Here’s the guide on how to upgrade to the latest version of MacPorts.
Incidentally (but importantly), this is different that the usual port selfupdate.
